Payment for registration must be in U.S. dollars and may be paid by check drawn on a U.S. bank and made payable to APhA. MasterCard, VISA, or American Express are also accepted for payment. Purchase Orders
APhA will accept purchase orders from federal government agencies and military institutions only. Purchase orders will be accepted via mail and fax (not via the Internet) and must be submitted with a completed registration form. Badges, tickets, and receipt will not be issued until payment is received. You must provide a credit card guarantee with your initial registration and purchase order. If the check isn’t received within 30 days after the meeting, your credit card will be charged for the full amount of your registration.
Confirmation and Badges
Registration confirmations will be sent via email within two business days of receipt of your registration. If we cannot contact you by email, we will fax your registration confirmation. If your registration is received by February 26 your badge and tickets will be mailed to you. If your registration is received after February 26, you will need to pick them up on site.
Changes and Corrections
To make changes or corrections to your registration, click on the appropriate link in the confirmation email. Changes and corrections may also be submitted to the Registration Center by fax (678-669-1802) or email through February 26. Changes and corrections required after this date must be made on site, as materials will begin mailing at that point.
Cancellations
All registration cancellations must be in writing to APhA2010@badgeguys.com. Cancellations received by February 10 will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after February 10. Additional Offering fees are non-refundable except when an event is cancelled by APhA.
Additional Offerings
Review the Additional Offerings and enter the corresponding code on the registration form. Please be aware that the day and time of some additional offerings overlap. These additional offerings are the only events requiring a ticket for admittance.
Registration Discounts
1. New Practitioners, Technicians, Postgraduates/Residents, and Students—Discounted Registration Fees!
APhA established discounted registration fees for New Practitioners, Technicians, Postgraduates/Residents, and Students. In light of these greatly discounted fees, no other promotional offers or discounts apply to these categories. Early bird rates (before February 10) offer all categories the greatest savings!
2. APhA Members—Full Conference: Redeem Your APhA Member Discount Coupon!
When you renewed your APhA membership, you were issued a discount coupon. The coupon entitles full conference member participants to a $50 discount off the annual meeting registration fee. To obtain your discount, simply follow the instructions on the back of the coupon.

3. APhA Members and Nonmembers—Full Conference: Register a Group of Pharmacists at a Discount!
Register five or more people from the same company and enjoy a discount on your conference registration fee. Everyone in the group must register under the full conference "Member" or "Nonmember" categories. Other registration categories do not qualify as part of the group.
Due to the substantial savings, this offer cannot be combined with any other offer or coupon. The discount only applies to the conference portion of the registration fee and not the membership dues included in the nonmember registration rates. Pharmacist membership dues are $235. Group registrations are nonrefundable, but can be transferred to another employee prior to the start of the meeting.
Contact Irica Cheeks to learn more about the discounted fees and obtain the special group offer code. Once you have the code, register online and enter the code in the "Offer Code" field or write it in the appropriate spot on the printed registration form to obtain the discounted rates.
Group registrations are subject to review and approval by APhA. In the event a registration is submitted with the group code and there are less than five people registered with the same company name, the difference in fees will be due prior to badges being released.
Nonmembers save too!
Register for the full 4-day registration and receive one year of APhA membership. When you register, you will automatically be enrolled as an APhA member. For additional offerings, nonmember rates apply. Offer does not apply to student, new practitioner, postgraduate, resident, technician, or one-day registration rates.
SELECT Registration
To be considered SELECT, you must have received a letter from APhA indicating you have attended the past two APhA conferences, and paid the pharmacist full conference registration fee (not valid with technician, new practitioner, postgraduate, resident, student or one-day registration). The SELECT code appears in the letter of notification. If you are a pharmacist and attended the past two conferences but did not receive a SELECT letter, please contact Irica Cheeks for the code.
Spouse/Guest Registration
The “Spouse/Guest” registration category is for non-pharmacist spouses or guests who wish to visit the Exposition, and attend the opening reception and closing reception. Note that continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits are not awarded to spouse/guest registrants.
Children
Children under the age of 18 will not be permitted in the exhibit hall or educational sessions at any time due to insurance liability issues. This includes children in strollers and carriers.
Bring a book!
The 12th Annual "Friends in Pharmacy" Community Service Project is collecting children's books to benefit The Reading Connection, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk children and families by helping them create literacy-rich environments and motivation for reading. Please donate books appropriate for children of all ages to be entered in a drawing to win a complimentary full conference registration to next year's Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA, March 25-28, 2011.
