New This Year for APhA2011

APhA is pleased to announce a major change in the Annual Meeting & Exposition schedule that we think will be well-received. As a way to help encourage networking and introduce meeting attendees to our industry partners, we will now host the Opening Reception, typically held at an off-site venue, in the Exposition on Friday evening.

The Opening Reception will welcome attendees to Seattle with complimentary hors d'oeurves, non-alcoholic beverages, live entertainment and fun Seattle-themed activities - all stationed throughout the Exposition.

Exhibitor move-in will be extended from 8am-5pm to 7am-6pm to allow for additional set-up time. Participating companies are asked to staff their booths during the Opening Reception, currently scheduled for 7:30pm-9:30pm. APhA will provide additional cleaning services on Saturday morning to prepare for the Grand Opening at 11:00am.

Some of the Seattle-themed events can be supported to guarantee exceptional booth traffic! Stay tuned for new support opportunities and additional details about this exciting scheduling change!

The Closing Reception, typically held at the headquarters hotel, will now be held at an off-site venue.

APhA Product Theaters

APhA is excited to offer Product Theaters at APhA2011! Each Product Theater session provides attendees with an opportunity to ask product-specific questions of key experts and industry representatives, find out information on new pharmaceutical products and services, and learn the latest in data and research findings. Product Theaters may concentrate on specific products and drugs, and are therefore not eligible for CPE credit.

APhA2011 Career Connection

Connect with the Future of Pharmacy at the APhA Career Connection.

The Career Connection, formerly known as the Employment Exchange, is the premier career exposition for pharmacists, student pharmacists, pharmacy employers, and other pharmacy career representatives.

Held in the APhA Exhibit Hall, the Career Connection offers face-to-face and online pharmacy recruitment opportunities as well as information about advanced education programs.

The Career Center at pharmacist.com operates year round.
